At ireckon we love redesigning websites for our clients, making them more functional, or providing them with a new design.
After 3 years with our existing design for ireckon.com, we felt it time for a change. The site was still delivering results for us, but wasn’t telling the whole story.
Since it was last redesigned ireckon we have evolved and have designed and built new products and added new services – most of which were missing from our existing site.
After undertaking a complete audit of the website we came up with a plan of how we wanted the new site to work, showing how the information, including text images and menus, are structured on the web site, and how it should flow and read.
Our great team of designers came up with a design we think looks pretty good. But of course web design is not just about how a site looks. How the site functions, and how easily people can use it also play a major role.
We’ve added and extended pages on each of our products – each designed with its own specific look and feel. Whether it was rewriting our pages on web design, search engine optimization, graphic design, or website hosting; or writing new pages for our products such as ireckon post, our email marketing tool, ireckon shop, our online shopping catalogue system or on the wide range of custom tools and apps we offer, we have provided a lot more useful content for our visitors to read.
We’ve also added great functions such as print or email a page, as well as the option to share the page with many of the social networking sites available.
The new site also has a blog, set up to allow staff to talk about what they do and share some of the cool things they see that may be useful to others. Have a look to see some of the great blogs already up.
We love the new site, not only for what it looks like, and the information it provides, but because already it is delivering the results we were looking for. Increased inquiries for specific areas of work not listed on our previous site have made all the effort worth while.
